Every scroll is made on 220 gsm paper, hand-aged with natural dyes. The text is engraved, not printed: that’s what gives it a unique, one-of-a-kind look, unlike any printed scroll.

Each piece is handmade, and we need time to prepare the design, send it to you for approval and carry out the engraving. The usual production time is 7 to 10 days, plus shipping.
Scrolls and weddings
Production takes 7 to 10 days for both a standard scroll and a wedding order, plus shipping: allow around 5–10 working days for EU destinations such as Ireland, the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden and Denmark. For the UK and Norway, both outside the EU customs union, import VAT or duties may apply and delivery times can vary. Ordering ahead lets you plan with peace of mind.

Is the text printed or engraved?
The text is engraved onto the paper. It’s not a standard print on aged paper; the ageing and finishing are done by hand in the Papelulandia workshop.
What sizes can I choose from?
There are three standard sizes: 20 cm, 25 cm and 30 cm. We can also look into special sizes on request.
How much does a personalised parchment scroll cost?
Prices range from €36 to €74 depending on size and personalisation. No text: €36, €39 or €45 for 20, 25 or 30 cm. With text: €45, €56 or €60. Long text over 1,000 characters: €70 at 25 or 30 cm. Text with images: €59, €70 or €74. All prices include VAT; shipping is calculated separately by destination.
Can I order the scroll without text?
Yes. The no-text option is ideal for writing it yourself, using it as a guest book, or preparing a message later on. Prices without text are €36, €39 and €45 depending on size.
Can I include a text over 1,000 characters long?
Yes. We offer a long-text option for 25 and 30 cm at €70. We adapt the layout to the content so the result stays legible and well balanced.
Can I add photographs or illustrations?
Yes. You can add images to your personalisation. The text + images option costs €59 at 20 cm, €70 at 25 cm and €74 at 30 cm.
Can I see a design preview before it’s engraved?
Yes. Before engraving, we send you a design preview so you can review it and request any adjustments. Your approval is given before we move on to engraving.
How do I send my text and images?
You can leave your text and instructions in the notes field when ordering. If you need to send images or extra material, you can do so to pe*****@**********ia.es. If we need to clarify anything, we’ll write to you before preparing the design.
How long does it take to make and receive a scroll?
